Nothing here is locked. Treat it as a head start, not a final file: delete what you do not want, add the sections you do, print it when it looks right.

There are two of each, and it matters which one you open
Start with the buttons above. That version lays itself out. Type four more lines into a section and everything below moves down, pages re-number, nothing runs off the bottom. Which is what you want while the words are still changing, and the words are still changing: the escalation guide is a placeholder, and there are two copy calls waiting on you and Ashley below.
The free-layout version is the finishing pass. Every box is loose and you can drag it anywhere, snap it to its neighbours, grab several at once. Nothing re-flows there, so it is for nudging a page that is nearly right, not for writing. It will warn you with a "past the page" band if something ends up off the sheet.
They do not talk to each other. Each saves its own copy in your browser, so work done in one will not show up in the other. Do the writing in the first one, and when the content is settled, send it to Alex and he will hand you a fresh free-layout copy with all of it in.
Six things worth knowing before you start
- Click any text to edit it
- Type over it, delete it, whatever. It saves as you go.
- Add or remove a block from the left
- Write-in boxes, takeaways, quotes, card rows, a rating scale, a picture. Everything below shuffles down to make room, and the pages re-number themselves. ⌘Z undoes anything.
- Paste a screenshot with ⌘V
- It lands where your cursor is, sized to the column. Dragging an image file in from your desktop works too.
- Drag a block by its grip to reorder it
- Grab the handle on the left of any block to move it up or down the document. For putting a box at an exact spot on the page, that is the free-layout version.
- It will tell you if a page is overfull
- You should not see it, since sections move to the next page on their own, but if something cannot fit it says so rather than printing off the edge.
- Print to PDF when it looks right
- ⌘P, then Save as PDF. It comes out as US Letter with the page count you see on screen.
Three things I left for you and Ashley
- The escalation section is a visible placeholder. Ashley's outline and the deck both say INSERT FINAL GFM ESCALATION THRESHOLD GUIDE, so it is sitting there in orange rather than quietly missing. Nobody can ship it by accident.
- The seven principles are in Ashley's order, not a tidied one. Her outline runs Decide on time, Shepherd the cascade, Reflect and learn before the four that open the process. It looks like a paste artifact, but it is her document, so I left it exactly as written. One-line fix if she wants it resequenced.
- Two small copy calls are yours. Ashley wrote RESILIANCY, and the slides I dropped in are captioned "From the deck, swap or delete" so it is obvious which ones are placeholders. Both are a few seconds to change in the editor.
